iMaginator and Create
For several pieces of work, I use fabric samples. Of course, you can scan fabric samples. But for smaller or low resolution work, I found a great place to get some samples - the Fabric Attic. They have some samples of 18th and 19th century patterns.
I downloaded a sample to iPhoto and opened it in iMaginator. You could also just Copy from Safari and Paste into iMaginator, since iMaginator doesn’t destroy the original!
I then applied the following the Watercolor Effect Chain -
Crystalize
Glass Distortion
Gloom
The Effect Chain is available here.
Then I dragged a PNG file out of the Image Well and duplicated it. I sampled a color out of the fabric for the color of the rectangle.
Then final Create document is then dragged into iWeb.
